Police are issuing CCTV pictures in connection with a break in at H Samuel jewellers in Trinity Square, Colchester in the early hours of Sunday, November 27.

Suspects gained entry to a shutter door using bolt croppers and then smashed glass in the door using a manhole cover from outside.

They also then used the manhole cover to smash glass cabinets inside and stole gold jewellery to a value in excess of £20,000.

Those involved were men, aged in their early 20s.
