The Astrid and Miyu advent calendars 2023 (because yes, there are three) are officially on sale. We repeat: the brand behind one of our favourite jewellery advent calendars of the festive season have blessed us with their 2023 offerings – and we could not be more excited.
Sure, it feels a tad early to be mentioning Christmas… but it is only ten weeks away ~gulps~, and in the world of non-chocolate advent calendars, it pays to be prepared. Whether you're going for a beauty advent calendar, wine advent calendar or one of these epic Astrid and Miyu advent calendars, you're going to have to fight off the thousands to get your hands on one. These things sell out fast.
Hence why we chose not to gate-keep when the Korean-born; London-based jewellery brand reached out to let us know their advent calendars would be launching today: October 10th. There was no way we could keep this lot a secret.

ICYMI, Astrid and Miyu was founded back in 2023 by Connie Nam, and they quickly became adored among the fashion crowd for their stackable earrings, huggies, birthstone jewellery, initial necklaces and dainty rings at accessible prices.
After a few years cementing themselves as Instagram's starring jewellery brand, they introduced ear piercing, tattooing, welding and engraving into their UK stores (which are located all across London and Manchester, FYI) – and just when we thought we couldn't get any more obsessed, we did.
It was only in 2021 when the first Astrid and Miyu advent calendar was released, designed with twelve boxes housing hoops, studs and other gorgeous pieces of jewellery. Plus, a £50 Astrid and Miyu voucher which you could spend in-store or online. Epic.
Fast-forward to last year, and Astrid and Miyu's second advent calendar – also a twelve-day calendar – sold out within a matter of days, after being released in both gold and silver.
This year, as you probably already guessed from our excitement, their advent calendars are back and bigger than ever. Not least because there are three options to choose from for the first time.

It features (yep, you guessed it) twelve pieces of jewellery – all for your ears – which you can elevate your stack with. Despite the sub-£400 price point, the jewellery inside has a combined total of over £600 – and you can expect everything from huggies to studs and classic hoops. It's the perfect gift for her – you just need to move quickly to bag one.
If you're after something a little more ~luxe~, you might want to make a beeline for the 24 day calendar. Available in sterling silver and gold plating, it's worth a staggering £1,340 but available to buy for £650. At least half of the pieces included in the calendar are new and exclusive (read: you can't actually pick them up anywhere else on site), and alongside earrings, you'll get necklaces and bracelets to boot. What's more, since the box is so damn chic, it doubles up as a jewellery box throughout the year with soft leather and secure compartments.
24 Day Advent CalendarSolid 14k Gold Advent CalendarLast but not least – and even if you'd never buy it – you've got to pay some attention to the Solid 14k Gold Advent Calendar. It's priced at £990 (expensive, we know), but is worth £1,340 and features five pieces of 14k Solid Gold jewellery. The calendar itself is made from beautiful resin, meaning it'll quickly become the favourite jewellery box you've ever owned – and the mix of bracelets, earrings and necklaces inside all contain semi-precious stones. So. Fancy.
